बिदाइ मा भन्न गरिने १३ प्रसङहरु:
1. Don't be a stranger - Commonly used to tell someone to stay in touch. This is commonly used when you are talking to someone you don't meet or see often.
E. g. "It was really nice seeing you again. Don't be a stranger, okay?"
"नचिनेको नौलो मान्छे जस्ताइ नबन्नु होला" यो कसै लाई निरन्तर भेट न हुने सक्ने अवस्था मा भन्न सकिन्छ. यसको अर्थ सम्पर्कमा राख्नु होला हो.
उद्धारण: यसरी भेट्नु साह्रै रमाइलो थियो, फेरी नचिनेको नौलो मान्छे जस्ताइ नबन्नु होला.
2. Take care! - said to someone while bidding farewell.
E. g. "Take care, see you soon"
ध्यान राख्नुहोला!
उद्धारण: ध्यान राख्नुहोला, चाडै भेटौँला.
3. See you around
चाडै भेटौँला
E. g. "Well, it was nice talking to you. I did not know you had moved here. See you around!"
उद्धारण: मलाई थाहा थिएन तिमी यता सरी सकेका छौ. चाडै भेटौँला.
4. Hit me up later - it is used to tell somebody to get in touch with you later.
पछी संपर्क गर्नुहोला.
E. g. "I am in a hurry right now, hit me up later. "
उद्धारण: म हत्तारमा छु, पछी संपर्क गर्नुहोला.
5. Keep in touch - when you are parting with someone but you want to stay in contact.
सम्पर्कमा राख्नु होला
E. g. "I'm going back to Birgunj tomorrow, but here is my e - mail address, please keep in touch!"
उद्धारण: म भोली बिरगंज जाँदैछु, तर मेरो ईमेल राख्नु र सम्पर्कमा राख्नु होला.
6. See you soon! - said for saying goodbye to someone you are going to meet again soon.
चाडै भेटौँला
E. g. "I'll see you soon!"
7. Farewell! - used to express good wishes on parting.
अल्विदा
E. g. "Farewell, Ajay!"
उद्धारण: अल्विदा अजय
8. Have a great day!
तपाईंको दिन राम्रो होस्!
E. g. "See you next week, have a great day!"
उद्धारण: अर्को हफ्ता भेटौ, तपाईंको दिन राम्रो होस्!
9. Later! - goodbye for the present; see you later.
पछी भेटौँला
10. Have a good one! - It is similar to 'have a good day'.
तपाईंको दिन राम्रो होस् जस्तै
E. g. "Sounds great, Raj. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Have a good one!"
11. It was nice to see you again - when you meet someone again
फेरी भेट्नु साह्रै रमाइलो थियो
E. g. "It was nice to see you again Ravi!"
उद्धारण: फेरी भेट्नु साह्रै रमाइलो थियो रवी
12. Until tomorrow! - used to say 'see you tomorrow'
ल त! भोली सम्म लाई!
E. g.
Sita: Well, the class went well today. Goodbye!
RAm: Until tomorrow!
उद्धारण:
सिता: कक्षा राम्रै थियो. अल्विदा
राम: ल त! भोली सम्म लाई!
13. Catch you later! - see you later!
पछी भेटौँला !
E. g. "I am getting late for a meeting, I'll catch you later!"
उद्धारण: मलाई ढिला भाईराखेछ. पछी भेटौँला !
