A thing, event, or experience that creates a profound sense of joy or elation in the spectator. (ನೋಡುಗರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ ಅಥವಾ ಹರುಷ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅಥವಾ ಅನುಭವ. )
E. g. The spring flowers in this part of the country are truly a joy to behold. (ದೇಶದ ಈ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆಯುವ ವಸಂತ ಕಾಲದ ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳು ಹರುಷವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. )
2. Burst with (an emotion) (ಒಂದು ಭಾವನೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸಿಡಿಯುವುದು)
Of an emotion, to be so filled up with something as to be unable to contain it. (ಒಂದು ಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭರಿಸಲಾಗದೆ ಸಿಡಿದೇಳುವುದು)
E. g. I was bursting with anger after they fired me from my job. (ನನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಕೆಲಸದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಜಾ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾನು ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಸಿಡಿದೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ)
3. Have any joy (ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಹರುಷವನ್ನು ಪಡೆ)
To have some amount of luck or success in some task. (ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂಚ ಗೆಲುವು ಅಥವಾ ಅದೃಷ್ಟ ಹೊಂದುವುದು)

5. Burst with joy (ಹರುಷದಿಂದ ಸಿಡಿದೇಳು)

to cry out of happiness. (ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿಡುವುದು)

7. Be in a transport of delight/joy (ಆನಂದ/ ಹರುಷದ ಸಾರಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು)
to feel extremely happy or pleased (ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆನಂದದಾಯಕ ಎನಿಸುವುದು)
E. g. I looked up to the heavens and praised God, in a transport of delight. (ನನ್ನ ಆ ಭವ್ಯ ಖುಷಿಗೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಗದತ್ತ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿದೆ. )
