1. A joy to behold:
A thing, event, or experience that creates a profound sense of joy or elation in the spectator.
E. g. The spring flowers in this part of the country are truly a joy to behold. (Bunga - bunga musim semi di bahagian negeri ini adalah kebahgiaan sebenar untuk dilihat. )
2. Burst with (an emotion):
Of an emotion, to be so filled up with something as to be unable to contain it.
E. g. I was bursting with anger after they fired me from my job. (Saya terlalu marah selepas mereka memecat saya dari pekerjaan saya. )
3. Have any joy:
To have some amount of luck or success in some task.
E. g. Have you had any joy getting the washing machine working? (Apakah awak berbahgia semasa mesin basuh berjalan baik?)
4. Bundle of joy:
A newborn baby.
E. g. We threw a baby shower for Jessica today so she can get all she needs in preparation for her little bundle of joy. (Kita meraikan 'baby shower' untuk Jessica hari ini, sehingga dia boleh mendapat apa yang dia perlukan untuk mempersiapkan bakal bayinya. )
5. Burst with joy:
[for someone] to be full to the bursting point with happiness. (To be so filled with joy as if to burst. )
E. g. When I got my grades, I could have burst with joy. (Semasa saya lulus, saya dipenuhi kegembiraan. )
6. Weep for joy:
to cry out of happiness.
E. g. She was so happy, she wept for joy. (Dia sangat bergembira, dia menangis bahgia. )
7. Be in a transport of delight/joy:
to feel extremely happy or pleased
E. g. I looked up to the heavens and praised God, in a transport of delight. (Saya menatap ke langit dan memuji Tuhan, saya sangat bahgia. )
