1. Very vs. Too
Very - Used to add emphasis (to an adjective or adverb) to a great degree.
E. g. The mango is very sweet.
Too - To a higher degree than is desirable, permissible, or possible; excessively.
Usually it has a negative meaning.
E. g. There is too much sugar in this tea! I cannot have it.
2. Few vs. A few
Few means "virtually none" or "almost zero". This is a negative term.
E. g. Few students could clear the test. (Not enough students passed)
A few implies a small number of something (just enough).
A few means "some" or "a handful".
E. g. I have a few pens with me.
3. Little vs. a little
Little - It also means a small amount, but the amount is almost nothing.
E. g. - Sorry, I have little money. I really can't afford to go out.
When we say 'a little' we mean a small amount, but it's enough:
E. g. - I have a little money, enough for the cinema at least.
