11 types of medicines:
1. Antibiotics - A medicine that inhibits the growth of or destroys microorganisms - (एक प्रकार की दवाई जो जीवाणु को बढ़ने से रोकती है और उन्हें खत्म करती है. )
2. Analgesic - (chiefly of a drug) acting to relieve pain - (दर्द दूर कर देने वाली दवा. )
3. Antacids - Antacids are used to relieve acid indigestion, upset stomach, sour stomach, and heartburn - (एक प्रकार की दवा जो अपच, पेट की ख़राबी, पेट में जलन आदि से राहत पाने के लिए ली जाती है. )
4. Anti allergic - Relating to any agent or measure that prevents, inhibits, or alleviates an allergic reaction. - (एक ऐसी दवा जो एलर्जी से राहत पाने के लिए प्रयोग में ली जाती है. )
5. Antiseptic - Any substance that inhibits growth of microorganisms - (ऐसे दवा जो घाव पर लगायी जाती है ताकि उसपे मौजूद रोग के कीटाणु नष्ट हो सके. )
6. Antipyretic - (chiefly of a drug) used to prevent or reduce fever - (एक बुखार को कम करने वाली औषधि. )
7. Muscle Relaxants - They are used for pain relief in minor strain injuries - (यह सामान्य चोट में दर्द से राहत पाने के लिए लिया जाता है. )
8. Sedatives - A drug taken for its calming or sleep - inducing effect - (एक ऐसे दवा जो नींद लाने के लिए प्रयोग में ली जाती है. )
9. Supplements - dietary substances used to enhance, or enrich the nutritional status of a patient. - (एक प्रकार का आहार जो की एक मरीज के शरीर में पोषक तत्वों की मात्रा को बढ़ाता है. )
10. Antidepressants - Medications prescribed to relieve major depression - (ऐसे दवाइयाँ जो निराशा (depression) से राहत पाने के लिए प्रयोग में ली जाती है. )
11. Laxatives - Laxatives are used to treat constipation—the passage of small amounts of hard, dry stools - (एक ऐसी दवाई जो कब्ज से राहत पाने में प्रयोग में ली जाती है. )
