Types of houses:(ಮನೆಗಳ ವಿಧಗಳು)
1. Apartment (ಅಪಾರ್ಟ್ಮೆಂಟ್) - A room or suite of rooms designed as a residence and generally located in a building.
2. Hut (ಗುಡಿಸಲು) - A small house or shelter, usually made of wood or metal.
3. Cabin (ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಕೊಠಡಿ) - An enclosed small room.
4. Caravan (ಚಲಿಸುವ ಮನೆ) - A large group travelers journeying together large covered vehicle.
5. Cottage (ಹಳ್ಳಿಮನೆ) A small simple house, esp in a rural area.
6. Dorm (ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯ) - A college or university building containing living quarters for students.
7. Estate (ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್) - Everything you own, your property.
8. Flat (ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ಒಂದು ಮಹಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮನೆ) - An apartment on one floor of a building.
9. Lodge (ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ತಂಗಲು ಸ್ಥಳ ನೀಡುವ ಒಂದು ಹೋಟೆಲ್. ) - A hotel providing overnight lodging for travelers.
10. Loft (ತೆರೆದ ಛಾವಣಿಯ ಮನೆ. ) - Floor consisting of open space at the top of a house just below roof; often used for storage.
11. Mansion (ಮಹಲ್) - A large luxurious house.
12. Pent house (ಮಹಡಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಮನೆ) - A residence, often with a terrace, on the top floor or floors of a building.
13. Row house (ಸಾಲು ಮನೆ) - One of a series of houses, often of similar or identical design, situated side by side and joined by common walls.
14. Villa (ತೋಟದ ಮನೆ) - The often large, luxurious country house of a well - to - do person.
15. Tepee (ಕೋನಾಕಾರದ ಟೆಂಟು) - A tent usually of a conical shape.
16. Shack (ಕುಟೀರ) - A small crude shelter used for living.
17. Studio apartment (ಒಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಸ್ಥಳ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಅಪಾರ್ಟ್ಮೆಂಟ್. ) - A small apartment usually consisting of one main living space.
