1. Deck - A pack of playing cards
(डेक - खेल्ने तासको एक प्याक)
2. Suit - The symbols on each card. Each is called a suit. There are four suits in a deck of cards:
(सुइत - तासको रंग )
a. Spade (black) - A black, leaf - shaped figure
b. Hearts (red) - A red, heart - shaped figure
c. Club (black) - A black figure shaped like a clover leaf
d. Diamond (red) - a red lozenge - shaped symbol
3. Names of non - numbered cards
(गैर - संख्यात्मक तासको पत्ताको नाम)
a. Ace - A single spot or pip on a playing card, die, or domino
(एक्का - तासको एक एकल ठाउँ, एकमात्र भने जस्तो )
b. King - A playing card bearing the figure of a king, ranking above a queen
(राजा - रानी माथि र्याङ्किङ्ग तास राजा को आंकडा भएको )
c. Queen - A playing card bearing the figure of a queen, ranking above the jack and below the king.
(रानी - जैक भन्दा ठुलो र राजा भन्दा सानो , रानी आकार भएको पत्ता)
d. Jack - A playing card showing the figure of a servant or soldier and ranking below a queen.
(ज्याक - रानी भन्दा सानो पत्ता जसमा नोकर या सिपाहीको आकार भएको )
e. Joker - An extra playing card in a pack, which in many card games can substitute for or can rank above any other card.
(जोकर - एक आधिक पत्ता, कुनै तासको खेलमा विकल्पको रूपमा प्रयोग हुने )
4. Deal - To distribute (playing cards) among players.
(बत्नु - पत्ताको वितरण गर्न खेलाडीहरू बीच)
5. Dealer - The person who distributes the cards
(देअलेर - पत्ता वितरण गर्ने व्यक्ति)
6. Face cards - A king, queen, or jack of a deck of playing cards.
(मुहार भएको पत्ता - राजा , रानी वा जैक हुने पत्ता )
7. Hand - The cards held in a card game by a given player at any time.
(पालो - कुनै पनि समयमा दिइएको खेलाडी द्वारा आयोजित)
8. Shuffle - An act of shuffling cards, dominoes, or tiles.
(फेरबदल - पत्ताको अनुक्रम अनियमित रूपमा फेर्नु )
9. Up card - A playing card turned face up on the table
(सुल्टो पत्ता - पत्ताको दर्जा देख्ने गरि राख्नु )
10. Down card - A card that is dealt face down.
(उल्टो पत्ता - पत्ताको दर्जा नदेख्ने गरि राख्नु )
