1. Smog (sisle karışmış duman) = fog or haze intensified by smoke or other atmospheric pollutants.
2. Graupel (yumuşak dolu) = small particles of snow with a fragile crust of ice; soft hail.
3. Nimbus (büyük gri yağmur bulutu) = a large grey rain cloud.
4. Thaw (çözülmek) = (of ice, snow, or another frozen substance, such as food) become liquid or soft as a result of warming up.
5. Vortex (girdap) = a whirling mass of fluid or air, especially a whirlpool or whirlwind.
6. Gust (kuvvetli rüzgar) = a sudden strong rush of wind.
7. Haboob (kum fırtanası)= a violent and oppressive wind blowing in summer in Sudan and elsewhere, bringing sand from the desert.
8. Icicle (buz saçağı) = a hanging, tapering piece of ice formed by the freezing of dripping water.
9. Parhelion (yalancı güneş) = a bright spot in the sky appearing on either side of the sun, formed by refraction of sunlight through ice crystals high in the atmosphere.
10. Sleet (sulusepken) = rain containing some ice, as when snow melts as it falls.
