1. Every sentence must end with a full stop. ( எல்லா வாக்கியங்களும் கடைசியில் முற்றுப்புள்ளியோடுதான் முடிய வேண்டும். )
2. Proper nouns (names of people, places, brands, etc, i. e. unique instances of a class) must always be capitalised.
பெயர்ச்சொல்லின் (மக்களின் பெயர், இடங்கள், நிறுவன அடையாளங்கள், , அதாவது ஒரு வகையின் தனித்த அடையாளம்) முதலெழுத்து எப்போதும் பெரிய எழுத்தாக கண்டிப்பாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
3. When you use opening quotation marks, do not forget to use closing quotation marks at the end of the quoted word or phrase. ( மேற்கோள் குறி பயன்படுத்தும் போது மறக்காமல் மேற்கோள் காட்டும் சொற்றொடரின் ஆரம்பம் மற்றும் இறுதியில் மேற்கோள் குறி இட வேண்டும்)
4. Quotation marks are when quoting or sometimes to convey irony, not for emphasis; emphasis is conveyed by emboldening or italicisation, followed by an exclamation mark. 5. Do not use an apostrophe when you are pluralising a word. The plural of toy is toys, not toy's. Apostrophes are used to form contractions (it is = it’s) and indicate possession. (பன்மைச்சொல்லைப் பயன்படுத்தும் போது எழுத்தெச்சக்குறியை பயன்படுத்தக்கூடாது. toy என்பதன் பன்மைச் சொல் toys ஆகும் toy’s அல்ல. துணைவினைச்சொல்லை சுருக்கி எழுத பயன்படுத்தலாம். (it is = it’s))
