1. "Congratulations"
We use this for milestones and important achievements and events like passing an exam, getting a new job, having a baby, getting married and so on. (बधाई हो! का इस्तेमाल हम तब करतें है, जब किसी ने कोई उपलब्धि हासिल की हो. जैसे परीक्षा में सफल होना, नौकरी में तरक्की होना, आदि. )
E. g. "Congratulations, Tom. I hear you got promoted to Head of Sales. "
2. "Good for you"
This is an informal way to say congratulations. This can also deliver negative meaning when used sarcastically. (यह बधाई देने का अनौपचारिक तरीका है. जब इसका उपयोग व्यंग्य के रूप में किया जाए तो इसका भाव नकारात्मक हो जाता है)
E. g. "I hear you told the client you would only start work on the project when the first payment was paid and not before. Good for you. Our clients need to be reminded that we’re not a charity. "
3. "Good/Excellent idea" (अति उत्कृष्ट सुझाव)
E. g. "Excellent idea. Where's the menu?"
4. "You're a genius" (आप एक प्रतिभाशाली व्यक्ति हैं. )
E. g. "You’re a genius. I don't know what I'd do without you!"
5. "Let's hear it for". . . /"Hats off to. . . " (यह हम तब इस्तेमाल करते हैं जब हम किसी को यह बताना चाह रहे हो की उसने जो किया है वह तारीफ के काबिल है. )
These expressions are often used when you want to inform others that someone deserves praise.
E. g. "Let's hear it for Jeff who singlehandedly sealed the most lucrative deal for us today. "
6. "Bravo!" (इस शब्द का प्रयोग किसी की प्रतिभा या साहसी काम की तारीफ करने के लिए किया जाता है. )
From the Italian word and now used extensively in most languages. You often hear it in theatres when the audience praises the actors.
