Fashion Vocabulary:
1. Garments – another word for items of clothes, apparels. (ಉಡುಗೆಗಳು ಎನ್ನಲು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪದ)
2. Accessories – things (bags, belts or jewellery) that can be added to your outfit to make it more attractive and stylish. (ವಸ್ತುಗಳು - ಬ್ಯಾಗ್, ಬೆಲ್ಟ್ ಹಾಗು ಒಡವೆಗಳು. ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಕರ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿಸಲು ಬಳಸುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು)
3. Fashion victim – a person who wears popular trends and looks really ridiculous because he/she ends up looking like a store mannequin. (ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಉಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುವವನು/ಳು ಒಂದು ಉಡುಗೆಯ ಮಳಿಗೆಯಂತೆ ಕಾಣುವವರು. )
4. Catwalk or runway – a narrow flat platform, used by models to present designer clothes. (ರೂಪದರ್ಶಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸದ ಉಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಲು ಇರುವ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಸಮತಟ್ಟಾದ ವೇದಿಕೆ. )
5. Clothes stall – a booth displaying clothes in a market. (ಉಡುಗೆಗಳ ಅಂಗಡಿ)
6. Fashion icon – someone or something who is very well known as an example of style and high fashion. (ತಮ್ಮ ಶೈಲಿ ಹಾಗು ಉತ್ತಮ ಉಡುಗೆಯ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಯಾದವರು)
7. Must - haves – highly essential clothes that you must have in your wardrobe this season. Clothing must - haves also comprise the essentials of your wardrobe. (ಅವಶ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು/ ಉಡುಗೆಗಳು. ನಮ್ಮ ಕಪಾಟೆಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಾವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಉಡುಪುಗಳು. )

1. To have a sense of style – to know what looks good on you and have your own style and taste. (ತಮಗೆ ಏನು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೀತಿರುವವರು ಹಾಗು ಉಡುಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಛಾಪು ಹಾಗು ಸದಭಿರುಚಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರು. )
2. To be old - fashioned – to wear clothes or do something that is no longer in style. (ಹಳೆಯ ಕಾಲದ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುವವರು. )
3. Strike a pose – to take a particular posture in order to impress. You can strike a pose for the camera. (ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ನೀಡುವ ಭಾವಭಂಗಿ. ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾವಭಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಬಹುದು. )
4. To be dressed to kill – wear something with an intention to stand out/impress people and be noticed. (ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಅಥವಾ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುವಂತೆ ಉಡುಗೆ ಧರಿಸುವುದು. )
