1. Bang for your buck - value for money (பணத்திற்கேற்ற மதிப்பு)

2. A ballpark figure - A rough numerical estimate or approximation (உத்தேச மதிப்பு. )
E. g. Give me a ballpark figure of our projected losses.
3. A one man show - refers to someone who runs everything ( எல்லா விசயங்களையும் ஒருவரே செய்பவர். )
E. g. I saw him do his one - man show in London, which I loved.
4. Let's get down to brass tacks - to focus on essential details ( முக்கியமானவற்றில் கவனம் செலுத்துதல். )
E. g. Stop delaying and get down to brass tacks.
5. Best practice - commercial or professional procedures that are accepted or prescribed as being correct or most effective. (சிறப்பாக கையாளக்கூடிய வழிமுறைகள். )
E. g. The proprietors are keen to implement the best practices in food preparation, storage, and serving.
6. Bite the bullet - decide to do something difficult or unpleasant that one has been putting off or hesitating over. (மற்றவர்கள் கடினமானது என ஓதுங்கும் விசயத்தைச் செய்ய முடிவெடுத்தல். )
E. g. Decisions have to be taken and as a director you have got to bite the bullet.
7. Face the music - be confronted with the unpleasant consequences of one's actions. (ஒருவர் செய்யும் காரியத்தால் வரும் விளைவை எதிர்கொள்ளுதல். )

8. Flavour of the month - A person or thing that enjoys a short period of great popularity. ( ஒரு குறுகிய காலம் ஒருவரோ ஒரு பொருளோ பிரபலமாக இருத்தல். )

9. Carrot and stick approach - A policy of offering a combination of rewards and punishment to induce behavior. (பரிசும் தண்டனையும் ஒருசேர உள்ள விசயங்கள். )
E. g. At their organization they often use the carrot and stick approach.
10. A flight risk - A person who appears ready to leave a job or relationship, presumably for a better opportunity elsewhere. (வேறொரு நல்ல வேலை கிடைப்பதால் இருக்கும் வேலையை விடுதல்)
E. g. Dev is a definite flight risk.
