Driving and Traffic Vocabulary words:
1. Passenger: a person who is not driving; the side of a car opposite the driver. (1. गाडी न चालवणारे आणि सोबत प्रवास करणारे)
2. Seat belt: a safety belt in cars that protects drivers and passengers. (गाडी चालवताना लावायचा पट्टा)
3. Carpool: a group of people who ride (to work, etc. ) in the same car to save money. (पैसे वाचवण्यासाठी एकाच ठिकाणी जाण्यासाठी सोबत प्रवास करणे)
4. Lane: a single "path" in the road (large highways often have several lanes on each side)(रस्त्यावरचा एकच पट्टा)
5. Parking space: a place where you can park a single car
Parking lot: an area with many parking spaces(गाडी लावण्यासाठी ची जागा)
6. Pedestrian: a person who is walking (on a sidewalk, or across a street, for example)(रस्त्याच्या बाजूला चालणारे लोक)
7. Intersection: where two or more roads meet (there is usually a stoplight (or traffic light) at intersections)(2 पेक्षा जास्त रस्ते एकाच ठिकाणी मिळणारी जागा)
8. Crosswalk (US) / zebra crossing (UK): the white stripes at intersections where pedestrians cross the road( रस्ता पार करण्यासाठी आखलेल्या पांढऱ्या पट्ट्या)
