Movie vocabulary words:
1. Plot: the series of events that form the main story. (मुख्य कथानक घडवणारा घटनाक्रम)
E. g. It was a good film, but the plot was difficult to follow at times.
2. Scene: a small part of a film. (फिल्म चा छोटा भाग)
E. g. The opening scene showed a young man leaving prison and walking to a bus stop.
3. Cast: all the actors and actresses in a movie or TV show. (सर्व अभिनेते व अभिनेत्री)
E. g. It had a good cast, but the story wasn't very interesting.
4. Documentary: a film that's about real people, events or issues. (खऱ्या लोकांबद्दल, गोष्टी अथवा घटनांबद्दल असणारी फिल्म)
E. g. How can you eat junk food after seeing that documentary Super Size Me?
5. Genre: a kind or style of music, movie, TV show, painting, etc. (संगीत, चित्रपट, टीव्ही शो किंवा कलेचा प्रकार)
E. g. For film class we had to compare movies from two different genres, such as comedy and horror.
6. Cinema: a place where movies are shown on a big screen. (मोठ्या पडद्यावर चित्रपट दाखवली जाणारी जागा)
E. g. Let's meet in front of the cinema just before the movie starts.
