1. Accelerator - a device, typically a foot pedal, which controls the speed of a vehicle's engine.
2. Brakes - pedal used to stop or slow down the car
3. Gas gauge - an instrument that shows how much gas you have left in your gas tank
4. Glove compartment - a small storage area under the dashboard
5. Headlights - white lights in the front of the car
6. Brake lights - red lights at the rear of the car
7. Trunk - storage area in the back of the car
8. Rear - view mirror - mirror inside the car to see the road behind the car
9. Side - view mirror - mirror on each side of the car so that the driver can see the road behind him
