1. Setting
Diamond Setting or Gemstone Setting is when the gemstone has been secured in position by the metal used in the piece (Diamond Setting atau Gemstone Setting ialah semasa batu permata diselamatkan dalam posisinya dengan penyokong logam).
2. Solitaires
Solitaires are by definition a jewellery piece, which has a single main gem. The term is used more with diamonds than gemstones (Solitaires bererti bahagian barang kemas, yang mempunyai batuan utama. Istilah ini lebih banyak digunakan untuk berlian daripada batu permata).
3. Gold Hallmarking
Gold Hallmarking is a stamp imprinted on a jewellery piece that indicates the purity of gold (or its Karatage), its trademark, and other information about the manufacturer (Gold Hallmarking ialah setem yang dicetak yang menandai kemurnian emas (atau karat), jenama, dan maklumat lainnya mengenai pembuatnya).
4. Finish
Finish is another big aspect when it comes to jewellery. Finish is the final polish given to the metal. There are many different types that can be achieved on precious metal which are: (Finish ialah aspek penting lainnya yang diperlukan semasa membahas barang kemas. Finish ialah kemas terakhir dengan logam. Ada beberapa jenis yang berbeza yang digunakan untuk batuan berharga:)
a. Frosted Gold which is the finish achieved on gold that appears to be like frosted glass. (Berkemasan emas yang serupa kaca beku. )
b. Matt Finish is when the gold is made to look dull, without shine but still retains its warm yellow hue. (Berkemasan emas tanpa sinaran namun masih berwarna kuning hangat. )
c. Hammered Finish is achieved by beating the metal, leaving small, underlying portions on the gold. (Ditempa logam, berbentuk kecil, menjadi dasar emas. )
d. High Finish is the finish where the gold is given a mirror - like glossy appearance. (Berkemasan emas yang serupa cermin mengkilat. )
5. Navratna
The Navratna is a collection of 9 gems, both precious and semi - precious that together are believed to guide the 9 planets. This navratna is assumed to bring its wearer peace and happiness. (Navratna ialah kumpulan 9 batu permata, campuran antara yang berharga dengan yang semi - berharga yang dipercaya boleh mengarahkan 9 planet. 6. Facets
Facets are the polished surfaces seen on a gemstone that were designed to allow light to enter and leave the gem. (Facets ialah permukaan berkilat yang nampak di batu permata yang direka untuk memungkinkan cahaya masuk dan keluar daripada batu. )
