'Anger' idioms: 

1. Be up in arms: if you are up in arms about something, you are very angry. 
E. g. The population was up in arms over the demolition of the old theatre. (Penduduk marah kerana terdapat penghancuran pawagam tua. 

2. Bite head off: if you bite someone's head off, you criticize them strongly (and perhaps unfairly). 
E. g. worked 10 hours day all week and my boss bit my head off for not doing my share of the work! (Saya bekerja selama 10 jam dalam sehari sepanjang minggu, dan bos saya membuat saya marah kerana tak menganggap kerja saya!) 

3. Blow fuse: if you blow fuse, you suddenly lose your temper and become very angry. 
E. g. Charlie blew fuse yesterday then he discovered that his ipod had been stolen. (Charlie sangat marah semalam kerana dia menyedari bahawa iPod dia dicuri. 

4. Cheesed off: if someone is cheesed off with something, they are annoyed, bored or frustrated. 
E. g. Jenny is absolutely cheesed off with her job. (Jenny sangat sebal dengan pekerjaannya. 

5. Cut it out!: If you say 'cut it out' to someone, you are telling them to stop doing something. 
E. g. I've had enough of your insinuations, so just cut it out! (Cukupkan sindiran awak, hentikan!) 

6. Fit to be tied: Someone who is fit to be tied is extremely irritated, upset or angry. 
E. g. Harry was fit to be tied when his dog dug up the flowers he had planted. (Harry sangat marah semasa anjingnya menggali lagi bunga yang telah ia tanam. 

7. Get rise out of: if you make someone react angrily by jokingly saying something that you know will irritate them, you get rise out of them. 
E. g. He gets rise out of his daughter by asking her about her latest diet. (Dia marah kepada anak perempuannya kerana menanya diet terakhirnya.
