1. Pull over: This phrase means that when a particular vehicle has been stopped by an individual or an incident, it becomes necessary for the driver to stop the car on the side of the road. 2. A commute (to commute): the journey to work (perjalanan menuju pejabat)

3. Contraflow: when there is a construction going on one side of the road, only half of the road is available for traffic of both sides i. e. Left and Right. 6. Congestion: when it becomes difficult to find a way and move ahead because of huge traffic, there is supposed to be a congestion. (Ketika sukar menemukan jalan dan bergerak maju kerana perlintasan yang padat)

7. Gridlock: a type of traffic jam where "continuous queues of vehicles block an entire network of intersecting streets, bringing traffic in all directions to a complete standstill". (Semacam kesesakan lalu lintas di mana "barisan panjang kenderaan menutup jejaring jalan yang berhubungan, menjadikan kesesakan di seluruh arah lainnya)
