Phrasal Verbs:
1. Abide by (किसी निर्णय का आदर करना): To respect or obey a decision, a law or a rule
E. g. If you want to keep your job here, you must abide by our rules.
2. Account for (समझाना): To explain, give a reason
E. g. I hope you can account for the time you were out!
3. Add up (वाजिब लगना): To make sense, seem reasonable
E. g. The facts in the case just don’t add up.
4. Advise against (किसी को कोई चीज़ समझाना ताकि वे उसे ना करें): To recommend not doing something
E. g. I advise against walking alone in this neighborhood.
5. Agree with (किसी से सहमत होना): To have the same opinion as someone else.
E. g. I agree with you. I think you should go as well.
6. Allow for (ध्यान में रखना): To take into consideration
E. g. We need to allow for unexpected charges along the way.
7. Apply for (किसी चीज़ को लागू करना): To make a formal request for something (job, permit, loan etc. )
E. g. He applied for a scholarship for next semester.
