Environment Vocabulary Words:
1. Biodegradable (प्राकृतिक तरीके से सड़नशील): (of a substance or object) capable of being decomposed by bacteria or other living organisms and thereby avoiding pollution.
2. Biodiversity (जैव - विविधता): the variety of plant and animal life in the world or in a particular habitat, a high level of which is usually considered to be important and desirable.
3. Biosphere (जीवमंडल): the part of the earth's atmosphere and surface in which animals and plants can live.
4. Ecology (परिस्थिति - विज्ञान): the branch of biology that deals with the relations of organisms to one another and to their physical surroundings.
5. Endangered (लुप्तप्रायः): (of a species) seriously at risk of extinction.
6. Drought (सूखा): a prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall, leading to a shortage of water.
7. Energy conservation (ऊर्जा संरक्षण): the reducing of energy consumption through using less of an energy service.
8. Global warming (भूमण्डलीय तापक्रम वृद्धि): a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, CFCs, and other pollutants.
