Why is it celebrated?
This Festival is celebrated to take people back to the middle ages hosted at one of medieval France's biggest and best castles. Thousands of festival goers experience fun for all of the family. The organizers do the most incredible job at bringing festival goers right back in time as if they really are there.
What happens at the Medival de Sedan?
Many fun events take place throughout the course of the festival such as a large traditional banquet, flag throwing contests, wrestling, sword fighting, horsemen tournament as well as many more for all the family.
There is a huge spread of food as well which takes care of everyone from vegetarians to non vegetarians. This year the medieval fest runs from 26 to 27 May 2018. the surrounds of the castle will travel in time and take you back to the Middle Ages. The Castle will be symbolically decorated with knights, minstrels, troubadours, fanciful creatures and more so that children and adults alike have a fun weekend.
