The future continuous and the future perfect tenses are used to talk about events in the future. These tenses are used to talk about things either happening in the future or it will be finished in the future.
- Future Continuous Tense
We use the future continuous to talk about something that will be in progress or continue in the future.
The future continuous tense is made with will / shall + be + - ing.
Example :
She will be giving good news sometime soon.
The film will be starting soon.
I will be going to America.
- Future Perfect Tense
We use the future perfect to say that something will be finished in a certain time in the future. We often use the future perfect with ‘by’ or ‘in’
The future perfect tense is made with will / shall + have + past participle.
Example :
I will have finished my homework by 5 pm.
By the time you read this, I will have left.
They will not have left the country.
