1. Down in the mouth
When you look down in the mouth you look depressed and unhappy.

2. Feeling blue or to have the blues
To feel (or look) blue is to feel (or look) depressed or unhappy.
(उदास और नाखुश दिखना या महसूस करना)
E. g. I’m feeling blue today.
(आज मैं बहुत दु:खी महसूस कर रहा हूँ. )
3. Beside yourself with grief/worry
When you are beside yourself with grief or worry your feelings are so strong that you are overwhelmed by them.
(जब आप इतना अत्यधिक दुःख महसूस करते हैं कि आप उसी में डूब जाते हैं. )
E. g. They were beside themselves with grief when their mother died.
(वे अपनी माँ के मरने के बाद दुःख में डूब गए. )
4. Reduced to tears
When someone or something reduces you to tears, they make you feel so unhappy that you cry.
(जब कोई इंसान या कोई चीज़ आपको इतना नाखुश कर देती है कि आप रो देते हैं. )
E. g. My boss reduced me to tears when he shouted at me.
(जब मेरे बॉस मुझ पर चिल्लाए तब मुझे रोना आ गया. )
5. Downhearted
If you feel downhearted you feel sad or depressed.
(जब आप नाखुश और उदास महसूस करते हैं. )
E. g. Don’t be downhearted. You can retake your exams next month.
(उदास मत हो. आप अगले महीने अपनी परीक्षा दोबारा दे सकते हो. )
6. Heartbroken
If someone is heartbroken they are feeling intense and overwhelming sadness.
(जब किसी का दिल टूट जाता है तब वे अत्यंत गहरा दुःख महसूस करते हैं. )
E. g. We were heartbroken when our old dog died.
(जब हमारा बूढ़ा कुत्ता मर गया तब हमारा दिल टूट गया था. )
