Subject: Resignation from the post of a Sales Manager.
Dear Mr. Verma,
My journey with ABC Limited has been very enriching. However, for a new journey to start, the previous one must end. As discussed, I am moving to another city due to certain personal reasons, and will have to resign from my current post of a 'sales manager' at ABC Limited. Kindly accept this e - mail as notice of my resignation.
I would dutifully serve my notice period for the next two months.
I would like to extend my gratitude to the whole team and my mentors, and I wish the organization would see days of greater success.
I am thankful for all the guidance provided to me during my work tenure.
Please accept my resignation, and do let me know if I can be of any assistance during the transition period.
