Kami akan keluar melainkan turun salji. = We'll go out unless it snows.
Kami akan keluar jika tidak turun salji. = We'll go out if it doesn't snow.

Kedua-dua ayat ini membawa maksud yang sama.
Tetapi \'unless\' adalah Kata Penghubung sebaliknya\'unless it doesn't snow\'.
If it doesn't snow. = Jika tidak turun salji.
Unless it snows = Melainkan turun salji.

Unless = 'If + don't/doesn't'.
