When we want to say that we would prefer somebody else to do something, we use 'would rather'.
Would rather (do something) than (something else).E.g:I would rather go to the theatre than see a movie home.

'Had better' کا استعمال ہم تب کرتے ہیں جب ہم کسی کو کسی خاص حالت کے بارے میں کوئی ہدایت دے رہے ہوں۔.
E.g: We would better hurry or we will miss the plane.
