Lesson 372
Interjections
ಸೂಚನೆ
=
In grammar, an interjection or exclamation is a word used to express a particular emotion or sentiment on the part of the speaker (although most interjections have clear definitions). Filled pauses such as (uh, er, um) are also considered interjections.

Interjections are often found at the beginning of the sentence; however, they can technically be anywhere in the sentence, including the middle and the end.

Interjections can either be followed by a 'comma' or an 'exclamation point' depending on the strength of the emotion that the writer would like to convey.
