ธนาคารอยู่ที่ไหน
ประโยคคำถามภาษาไทยนั้น เมื่อถาม 'where' จะมีโครงสร้างประโยคเป็น คำกริยา + ที่ไหน? (where?) ซึ่งจะวางคำถามไว้ท้ายประโยคเสมอ 'ธนาคารอยู่ที่ไหน' แปลเป็นภาษาอังกฤษตรงตัวได้ว่า 'Bank is where?'

ประโยคคำถามภาษาอังกฤษนั้นจะขึ้นต้นด้วยคำที่เป็นคำถาม (where) โครงสร้างประโยคคือ: Where + 'to-be' verb + กรรม
