Possessive adjectives是占有式形容词。
My (我的)
Your (你的)
His (他的)
Her (她的)
Its (它的)
Our (我们的)
Their (他们的/她们的)

We will travel in our car. = 我们会驾驶我们的汽车出行。

占有式形容词被称为possessive determiners。

通常用于名词之前以描述该名词。

这里的名词是car，而占有式形容词是our(我们的)，表示这辆car是我们的。

我们=us。

Our = 我们的

This is my pen. = 这是我的笔。

My 和 mine 的用法不太一样。My 是 possessive adjective，而 mine 是 possessive pronoun (所有格代词) - 注意它们在句子中的位置变化。

My pen = 我的笔 - 'my'放在动词 (pen) 前面。

This pen is mine = 这支笔是我的 - 'mine' 放在句尾。

This pen is mine. = 这支笔是我的。

'看那辆车。它的玻璃破了。' 选出正确的英文翻译。;

'Its' 是用于事物或动物的 possessive adjective。

那只猫很好看，它的毛是纯白的 = That cat is very beautiful. Its fur is totally white.

这里形容的是一只动物，因此要用'its'做possessive adjective 。不过如果我们知道它的性别的话，也可以用his or her - 尤其对于宠物来说。

我们的猫吃食物总是吃得快。 = Our cat always eats her food quickly.
