Possessive adjectives लाइ possessive determiners पनि भनिन्छ.

यसको प्रयोग संज्ञा भन्दा पहिला यो बताउनको लागि गरिन्छ की संज्ञा कोसंग सम्बन्धित छ.

यहाँ संज्ञा car हो. Possessive adjective, our (हाम्रो) यो दर्शाउछ कि car हाम्रो हो.

We = हामी Our = हाम्रो.
Our = हाम्रो
'के तपाई यहाँ नयाँ हो? तपाईको नाम के हो?' को अंग्रेजीमा अनुवाद के हुन्छ? ठीक विकल्प छनौट गर्नुहोस्.;

Possessive adjectives एकवचन वा बहुवचन रुपको लागि समान नै रहन्छ.

Eg: नेहाले आफ्नो सांचो पायो. = Neha found her keys

My र mine को नेपालीमा अर्थ मेरो हुन्छ. तर यिनिहरु को प्रयोग फरक हुन्छ. My' possessive adjective हो जबकि 'mine' possessive pronoun (अधिकार जताउने सर्वनाम) यिनिहरु को वाक्यमा पोजिशनलाई ध्यान दिऊ

This is my pen = यो मेरो कलम हो.
my pen = मेरो कलम - 'my', कलम को ठीक अगाडि आउँछ.

This pen is mine = यो पेन मेरो हो.
Mine वाक्यको अन्तिममा आउँछ.
This pen is mine = यो कलम मेरो हो.
'कारलाई हेर, यसको सिसा फुटेको छ.' को अंग्रेजीमा अनुवाद के हुन्छ? ठीक विकल्प छनौट गर्नुहोस्.;

Its' possessive adjective को प्रयोग object अनि जनावरहरूको लागि प्रयोग गरिन्छ.

त्यो बिरालो एकदम सुन्दर छ. त्यसको रौं पुरै सेतो छ = That cat is very beautiful. Its fur is totally white

बिरालो जनावर हो, त्यसैले possessive adjective 'its' को प्रयोग गरिन्छ. तर यदि हामीलाइ जनावरको लिंग (gender) थाहा छ भने हामी his वा her को प्रयोग पनि गर्न सक्छौ - खास गरेर पालेको पशु को

हाम्रो बिरालो जहिले पनि उस्को खाना छिटो खान्छ = Our cat always eats her food quickly.

याद रहोस, its र it's दुई फरक शब्द हुन् जसको अर्थ पनि फरक छ.

Its एक possessive adjective हो.

अनि It's को अर्थ हो it is या it has.
It's = यो हो
