India on Sunday handed over to Tanzania a navigational chart of the east African country's Mkoani harbour.
"Indian hydrographic survey ship INS Sutlej had conducted a joint hydrographic survey of Mkoani harbour, Tanzania, in early 2016, " the Prime Minister's Office stated.
"The chart will be used by port authorities and ships in the harbour and nearby areas for the purpose of navigation, " it added.
The chart was handed over during the joint press statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tanzanian President John Mafuguli following delegation - level talks here between the two sides.
Modi arrived in Tanzania from South Africa on Saturday on the third leg of his four - nation African tour.
India and Tanzania signed five agreements following Sunday's talks.
