An orthopaedic surgeon from Andhra Pradesh, Dr Laxminarayan Reddy, succumbed to COVID - 19 on Monday at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. He was in the ICU for the last five days and was doing fine before he died due to profound hypotension, said reports. Reddy's wife, who is a paediatrician, was also found to be coronavirus positive and is currently under treatment.
