 As curfew continued for the 46th day in Srinagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met delegation of opposition parties from Kashmir who warned that continuing law and order problem and unrest in the state will only alienate the people further. 
The delegation    led by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah    also submitted to the prime minister memorandum that demanded an immediate ban on the use of pellet guns in the troubled state. 
The meeting came day after the delegation met Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi here on Sunday to discuss ways to contain the prevailing unrest in the Kashmir Valley. 
The valley has been crippled by curfew which was imposed since July following the the killing of top militant, Burhan Wani, in gunfight with the security forces and call by separatists for shutdown in protest. 
Over 65 people have died in clashes with security forces.
