Veteran filmmaker Martin Scorsese's TV show "Vinyl" got renewed for the second season just after its season one debut episode.
The 1970s rock and roll drama "Vinyl", which marks Scorsese's debut on television, premiered in India on Wednesday and internationally on February 14.
Created by Mick Jagger, Scorsese, Rich Cohen and Terence Winter, "Vinyl" was so well - received globally that its studio HBO has renewed the show for its second season, read a statement.
The show's two - hour pilot was directed by Scorsese from a teleplay by Terence Winter and George Mastras, and story by Cohen, Jagger, Scorsese and Winter. This will be followed by hour - long episodes starting February 24 on Star World Premiere HD.
