Ace filmmaker Ridley Scott says a writer should listen to his own intuitions because if he will not do that, he cant take decisions.
"You got to rely on your intuition as a writer.
Otherwise, you get a block and you're going mmm.
And intuitively you learn gradually to trust your intuition, " Scott said in a statement.
"Anything is better than no decision - - my feeling as a director.
Best advice I can give is go in the morning, don't apologise for anything, and actually just say, 'Put the cameras over there', and they'll all scuttle over there. "
"'I'm just going to have a cup of coffee', and you go and sit in the trailer in terror wondering what you're going to do, " he added.
Scott's science fiction film "The Martian" will be aired in India on Star Movies on October 9.
