 court here on Thursday rejected the Delhi Police plea for voice sample of JNU students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, facing sedition charges for allegedly raising "anti India" slogans, sources said. 
 
 Metropolitan Magistrate Lovleen dismissed the Delhi Police plea after counsel for the accused said that his clients are not willing to give voice samples, the sources said. 
 The two accused are in police custody till March 27. 
The two Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students surrendered before police on Tuesday outside gate of the university. 
 case against Khalid and Bhattacharya was registered at Vasant Kunj police station. 
 JNU Students' Union president Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested in sedition case on February 12 after the event held on the university campus in commemoration of the death of parliament attack convict Afzal Guru who was executed in 2013. He allegedly shouted anti India slogans at the event.
