The Salman starrer 'Sultan' will have Randeep Hooda in the role of a Haryanavi character. Randeep and Salman worked together in 2014 hit Kick and since then the actors share a comfortable equation.
According to sources close to the film, Randeep doesn't play a wrestler in Sultan. Incidentally, Randeep was to play a Haryanvi boxer in film to be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
The role needed someone tall with a good physique and persona. Salman thought Randeep would be a good fit, so he recommended him.
