Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists on Wednesday protested outside the Delhi Police headquarters here at alleged police inaction against those who raised anti - India slogans at the JNU last year.
The protesters demanded action against the culprits.
"It has been over a year now and no police action has been taken.
Even a chargesheet has not been filed against members of leftist student parties and others on the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus who raised anti - India slogans, " ABVP media Cconvener Saket Bahuguna told IANS.
"We also want police to act against students who raised anti - national slogans outside Ramjas college on February 22, " Bahuguna said.
"Such anti - national students are moving freely and are now misusing the Delhi University campus for raising anti - India slogans.
They should be put behind bars immediately, " the ABVP leader said.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police Special Commissioner Deependra Pathak said police are still examining video footage of the JNU campus event and action will be taken accordingly.
