While addressing the Combined Commanders Conference on board INS Vikramaditya, Modi said, "India is engaging Pakistan to try and turn the course of history, bring an end to terrorism, build peaceful relations, advance cooperation and promote stability and prosperity in our region. "
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that New Delhi was resuming talks with Islamabad to "try and turn the course of history" and bring an end to terrorism, but made it clear that Pakistan would be judged by its commitment on terrorism.
