Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leaders intensified their attack on finance minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday, claiming his tenure as chief of Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) was marked by massive financial bungling while the minister rebutted the charges saying no inquiry had revealed any evidence of fraud.
The heated politics over the 'DDCA scam', alleged by AAP to be the reason for a CBI probe into a key aide of Kejriwal, bubbled and boiled on Thursday with the party alleging that wrongdoings at DDCA had the 'direct or indirect' consent of Jaitley. A Delhi government - appointed committee, AAP said, had reported glaring irregularities and recommended a commission of enquiry.
