Governor Anil Baijal on Saturday asked officials to expedite the completion of the much - delayed Rani Jhansi Road grade separator aimed at easing traffic congestion.
The 1. 6 km elevated corridor will link Tis Hazari courts in north Delhi with Filmistan Cinema in central Delhi.
Baijal, who held a meeting with all stakeholders, inquired about the bottlenecks due to which the project has seen a huge delay and directed all concerned to take action in a time bound manner and work within strict time line, a Raj Nivas media statement said.
He also inspected a multilevel automatic car parking system at Kamla Nagar, and directed for its optimum utilisation.
The officials concerned assured Baijal of completion of the projects by October.
