The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 31, 274. 74 points, was trading at 31, 261. 78 points (at 9. 17 a. m. ), lower 11. 51 points or 0. 04 per cent from the previous day's close at 31, 273. 29 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 31, 275. 35 points and a low of 31, 232. 65 points in the trade so far.
