The release date of a yet untitled animated Spider - Man movie has been pushed from July 20, 2018 to December 21, 2018, Sony Pictures has announced.
Tom Rothman, the chairman of the production banner, had unveiled the animated project in April at Cinemacon with "The Lego Movie" directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller writing the script and producing with an eye to directing, reports variety. com.
This will be the seventh film about the Marvel superhero.
