Croatian Marin Cilic on Thursday defeated American Stefan Kozlov to advance to the quarter - finals of the Queen's club tennis tournament.
Fourth seeded Cilic beat Kozlov 6 - 0, 6 - 4 in an hour and five minutes on the fourth day of the meet, reports Efe.
Cilic, who defeated John Isner in the first round, is set to play against his third American opponent in a row in the quarter - finals when he takes on unseeded Donald Young, who defeated Serbian Viktor Troicki on Wednesday.
The Croatian is the only player remaining from the top five seeded players in the preparatory event for Wimbledon, which starts on July 3.
World No. 1 Andy Murray was defeated by Australian Jordan Thompson, after Swiss Stan Wawrinka and Canadian Milos Raonic, second and third seed respectively, were also knocked out, while French Open champion Spain's Rafael Nadal pulled out before the start.
