AGRA: Over 2, 000 tourists who had managed to get tickets to enter the Taj Mahal on Saturday were denied entry as security staff found the monument overcrowded. Breaking all records for the year, there were an unprecedented over one lakh visitors to the Taj on Saturday.
On Sunday too, a similar number of visitors arrived at the monument and Central Industrial Security Force, which guards the monument, said all visitors could only be evacuated nearly three hours past sundown.
