Asia's largest underground railway station, Futian Station, opened in China's Shenzhen city on Wednesday. Covering an area of 147, 000 square metres, the three storey high speed station can accommodate up to 3, 000 passengers at time. It will reduce the time taken to travel between Guangzhou and Hong Kong to 30 minutes which currently takes two hours by an ordinary train.
