Luxury car maker Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. , a part of Tata group, on Wednesday said it has logged 45 percent growth for January - March 2016 quarter.
In a statement, the company said it has crossed sales of 1, 000 units during the quarter on the back of good demand for its recently launched models like All - New Jaguar XE and Discovery Sport.
"The Jaguar and Land Rover brands are now firmly established in India. The All - New Jaguar XE, which we introduced in the Indian market in February 2016 in petrol derivatives, has received a tremendous response, " RohitSuri, president was quoted as saying in the statement.
"Also, the demand for Model Year 2016 Jaguar XJ, Range Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport continues to be extremely robust, " he added.
The company has mix of imported and India built models sold through its 23 outlets in the country.
