India's foreign exchange reserves went up to $359. 75 billion as on April 1, the Reserve Bank of India said.
According to RBI's forex data, the foreign exchange reserves stood at $359. 75 billion as on April 1 as against $355. 55 billion for the week ended March 25, 2016.
As an April 1, the foreign currency assets stood at $335. 68 billion, gold $20. 11 billion, special drawing rights $1. 5 billion and the reserve position with International Monetary Fund (IMF) stood at $2. 45 billion.
On the other hand, the forex reserves for the week ended March 25, 2016, consisted of foreign currency assets $332. 14 billion, gold reserves $19. 32 billion, special drawing rights $1. 48 billion and the reserve position with IMF was $2. 59 billion.
