The device, Sonic Eye has a white stick which has a navigation device attached to it. It has a sensor that rings and buzzes every time it senses any kind of object in close nearness.
Hafsa Jamal, a student from Peshawar has created this device. She stated that she is also working on a mobile app which would help the visually impaired people to use their phone instead of this device altogether.
In the previous year, many students from Karachi University made several applications for many aspects of their field. Some healthcare apps and some of other fields. The student from Peshawar, Hafsa wants to create many apps related to navigation and the apps which can be used in daily life.
