A tenth grader teenager from Hatibandha SS High School, Lalmonirhat has built a humanoid robot using rudimentary devices.
The humanoid robot, named Toru Humanoid Social, perform various tasks such as answering 10 specific questions programmed in it, navigate in indoor environment, make some limb movements and record and transmit video. It can also navigate in indoor environment.
The robot earned its inventor, Saiedul Mostain Torongo, the 1st prize of the invention competition, which was held as part of the three - day Digital and ICT Fair in Lalmonirhat town.
In the concept paper, Torongo wrote that he had built the humanoid robot with his own design and coding.
